Do most people change when they get out of the military?

Depends on how long they were in the service for. If they were only in for four years there is not much of a change. I was a navy wife for 18 yrs. When my husband got out, no way did he change. He was obsessed with the navy life. That's all he could talk about was stories of the past. He could not have a conversation with anyone unless it was about the military. He was in the service for 25 yrs. He was always angry before he inlisted, so nothing changed there.
