If the guy truely likes you he will want you to kiss him an dhold his hand in public to show that your his and if not he will feel like your embared by him and maybe he feels you dont like him that much anymore and when you joke you are serious now i would have a talk with him and tel him whats going through your mind and see if that leads you to breaking up cause i personally dont think you are ment to be better luck with the next guy.
