For UK citizens only: Do you think the Tories and the Lib Dems will merge into one party?

I've heard about one Tory wanting to "field" candidates in the next coalition as a Coalition Candidate. Do you think the two parties will merge? If so, would the Lib Dems have to accept the terms of the Tories and vote on Tory beliefs, like keeping the monarchy, the pound, etc? I am proud of my nation and don't want any more "changes" for the sake of change. Our gov and country will be just find if liberal politicians didn't keep selling us out to Europe and changing things just for the sake of change. What do you think, do u think this is likely to happen and if so, what would happen to Tory beliefs and policies? Would the Lib Dems just adopt them?
