How to become fair again after sunburns?

hey, i got dark about 2 months ago under the sun during my duties. now my arms are darker than the other parts which were covered by my shirt. i know fairness is only because genetics and pigments but my arm isnt genetically darkened. any help guys? oh yeah i hav acne too if i use whitening products will it worsen conditions?
