Is this guy really cheap and should I even bother?

There's this guy who is interested in me, but sometimes he'd say things that make him look and sound cheap. He took me to china town once and he talked about how he likes it there because that's where you can get your cheap vegetables. Then he told me how he signs up for club promotions online because he doesn't want to pay for a club he's never been to. Then he tells me how he doesn't buy greek yogurt because it's so bloody expensive, but it's 5 dollars for about a jug and blah blah blah. I hate when men start appearing to be cheap. I'm not high maintenance or anything, but correct me if I'm wrong, during the first few months you meet a girl, she doesn't exactly want to hear about what a cheap guy you are. On a date a girl just wants to have fun, not hear about how this is gonna cost you. geez! Am I right? Is it cause for me to rethink this as future cheapness may arise?
