Don't allow him to text you. It's far easier to *type* nasty things than to actually say them to another human being out loud. You ignore his attempts at being childish and petty towards your current boyfriend and try to maintain a relatively normal appearing relationship between the two of you for the benefit of your kids. Just because he won't act like a grownup doesn't mean you can't.
